Bosses Day 2009
If a suspect makes a sudden movement, the military working dogs are trained to attack, even without the verbal command of their handler. The 56th Security Forces Squadron partnered with their reserve counterparts in the 944th Fighter Wing for the demonstration during the 944th Fighter Wing's annual Bosses Day Feb. 7. The 944th SFS welcomed home 37 of their members in January from a six-month deployment to Kirkuk Regional Air Base, Iraq. While there, four of the Reservists were certified as dog handlers.
