The 56th Force Support Squadron Thunder Club will provide preferred seating from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for guests during the 70 Years of Thunder Open House at Luke Air Force Base March 19 and 20.

The Thunder Club features an exclusive viewing area with indoor and outdoor seating located in the center of the show and special parking.

They are the best seats in the house, according to Louella Anderson, 56th Force Support Squadron deputy commander.

There will also be a shaded tent with tables, linen and chairs; VIP restroom facilities; catered food and beverage services featuring afternoon complimentary finger foods and nonalcoholic beverages. A barbecue lunch will be provided from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. along with a cash bar from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Corporate Chalets are also available for companies and organizations to host their employees, partners and customers in a private chalet with VIP treatment.

Privately managed parking at nearby off base areas and transportation to the open house will be available to the general public for a fee.

All other on base parking is reserved for volunteers, open house staff, handicapped guests and those with official Luke Days parking passes.

There will be limited access and traffic will be heavy in the areas surrounding the base between Camelback Road to the south, Olive Avenue on the north; Reems Road to the west, and the Loop 101 freeway on the east.

On-base parking passes for the general public are available for the first 400 purchasers of the Thunder Club.

Cost to be a Thunder Club member is $120 per person, per day, children two-years-old and younger are free. Thunder Club tickets can be purchased in advance at myeasytix.com, by calling Steve Winklebleck at (623) 856-6502, or at the show.
