Over 50 service members from the Air Force, Navy, and Marines stationed at Luke Air Force Base, participated in an on-field National Football League style “boot camp” August 14 at the University of Phoenix stadium.

Ten teams of five with at least one female per team participated and competed against each other in the event with the Arizona Cardinals in partnership with USAA.

The “boot camp” physical activity events resembled the same events used to evaluate NFL talent which included the 40-yard dash, three cone shuttle, vertical leap, ball catching, and gauntlet run.

After the event participants enjoyed a catered lunch, received giveaways, and watched a Cardinals team practice and finished with a meet-and-greet with players to end the day.
