In a joint-force effort Airmen, Marines, and Soldiers participate in Exercise Desert Hammer 25-1 and practice onboarding and offloading participants to simulate operations in an austere environment, Nov. 14, 2024, at Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Field, Ariz. Exercise Desert Hammer brought together Air Force Reserve, Air Force Guard, active-duty Airmen, Marines, Army National Guard, and international partners across four sites, integrating operations such as medical evacuations, combat search and rescue, and forwarding arming and refueling (FARP) setups.
