Rescue Training
Staff Sgt. John Brantley, 165th Air Support Operations Squadron joint terminal attack controller, uses a mirror to help A-10C Thunderbolt II pilots from the 924th Fighter Group, pin point his location during training at Avon Park Air Force Range, Fla. The training focused on tactics the A-10C can offer during combat operations, providing close air support for the combat search and rescue squadron. Approximately 200 Airmen from the 924th conducted their annual tour at Patrick Air Force Base, allowing the unit from Arizona to gain experience and train with the 920th Rescue Wing.
