Rescue Training

An HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter from the 301st Rescue Squadron prepares to land for simulated stranded survivors during training with A-10C Thunderbolt II aircraft from the 924th Fighter Group July 20 at Avon Park Air Force Range, Fla. The training focused on tactics the A-10C can offer during combat operations, providing close air support for the combat search and rescue squadron. Approximately 200 Airmen from the 924th conducted their annual tour at Patrick Air Force Base, allowing the unit from Arizona to gain experience and train with the 920th Rescue Wing.
