Pitching In

Staff Sgt. Amber Melgoza-Kulesza, 944th Logistics Readiness Squadron Fuels section, endures extremely high temperatures and humidity, while spraying corrosive preventive compound on Airfield Damage Repair construction equipment at Kadena Air Base, Japan, June 30, 2016. The ADR program has 250 assets on reserve and ready for any airfield disaster. This spray process saves 3.5 million dollars every five years in vehicle maintenance repair cost. Citizen Airmen with Luke’s 944th LRS travelled to Kadena as part of their annual tour to provide extra manning for their active-duty counterparts.
