944 FW flu shots
Maj Wyckliffe Furcron, 69th Fighter Squadron pilot and Active Guard Reserve, who flies with the 309th Fighter Squadron receives his annual flu shot from 1st Lt. Shawn O’Haver, 944th Medial Squadron Officer-In-Charge of Immunization and emergency room nurse. According to O’Haver during the winter months emergency room visits increase by 50 percent due to flu and flu like symptoms and if he had anything to do with it 100 percent of the population would get an annual flu shot.
