Bluebird exercise

Senior Airman Bianca Lopez, 944th Medical Squadron medical administration specialist, is ready to simulate a patient during the “Operations PATRIOT BLUEBIRD,” joint exercise hosted by the 944th Aeromedical Squadron on May 1. The use of moulage on patients ensures the training is more realistic when replicating injuries which helps prepare airmen for when they come across this type of scenario in the real world. It also provides a since of urgency for medical personnel. (U.S. Air Force photo taken by Tech. Sgt. Louis Vega Jr.)
