Bluebird exercise
Senior Airman Andrew Plante, 944th Medical Squadron medical technician, checks vitals of a bioenvironmental engineer technician with the 56th Aerospace Medicine Squadron during the "Operation PATRIOT BLUEBIRD" exercise May 1, 2015. As temperatures climbed up to the century mark during the “Operation PATRIOT BLUEBIRD” exercise heat exhaustion became a real factor. Plante and other medical technicians in "non-player" roles were on stand-by to provide real world medical support to help ensure everyone's safety. (U.S. Air Force photo/SSgt Lausanne Kinder)
