Air Force embeds with Army EOD
KIRKUK REGIONAL AIR BASE, Iraq – Tech. Sgt. Stephen Ray Hunter Jr.EOD Technician, 506th Air Expeditionary Group Explosive Ordnance Disposal flight team leader, follows a TALON robot during a function check Sept 14. The teams use the robot to recon and disable roadside bombs. Sergeant Hunter is one of six EOD Airmen forward deployed to FOB McHenry where they are embedded with soldiers of the Army’s 10th Mountain Division.
