11/12/2008 ? SATHER AIR BASE, Iraq ? Chief Master Sgt. Pablo Valverde ensures the 20mm M61-A1 Gatling gun is properly made safe on an F-16 Fighting Falcon after the pilot of the aircraft made an emergency landing at Baghdad International Airport Nov. 12. Chief Valverde is the 447th Air Expeditionary Group superintendent, deployed from his position as the Command Chief with the 944th Fighter Wing, Luke Air Force Base, Ariz. He has spent most of his career as an aircraft weapons specialist for the F-4E Phantom fighter, the B-52 Stratofortress heavy bomber, and the F-16. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt.
