Armed Forces Night with the Phoenix Coyotes

Senior Airman Anthony Wade, 944th Security Forces Squadron, rides a zamboni during the Coyotes hockey game April 2 at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, Ariz. The Phoenix Coyotes took on the Los Angeles Kings during Armed Forces Night. Twice a year, the Phoenix Coyotes and the City of Glendale recognizes military members throughout the Valley for their military service. Airman Wade, a security forces member with the 944th Fighter Wing, returned in January from a six-month deployment to Kirkuk Regional Air Base, Iraq. While there, Senior Airman Wade responded without hesitation to two separate rocket attacks and helped limit the casualties to U.S. personnel and minimized any further threat. For his actions, he was named the Airman of the Quarter for the 506th Security Forces Squadron at Kirkuk.(U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Ronifel Yasay)
