Paul Theisen, 944th LRS commander, wishes him good luck prior to take off for his incentive flight April 22. Sergeant Ames received the incentive flight on his last day of duty before retirement after 21 years of military service. In May 2008, Sergeant Ames deployed for four months to the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, where he served as first sergeant for the 755th Air Expeditionary Group.
