3rd Force Recon
Members of the 3rd Force Reconnaissance Company, a U.S. Marine Corps special operations unit in Vietnam, visited Luke Air Force Base earlier this year during their annual reunion. While the F-16 did not provide air support for the unit during Vietnam, these Marines enjoyed viewing an F-16 because it is similar to the F-4 Phantom that did provide them air support during the Vietnam War.
