9/11 Retreat

One hundred eighty-eight 944th Fighter Wing members stand in formation during a retreat ceremony held at the Wing Headquarters at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz. Sept 11, 2011 in remembrance of the attacks ten years earlier on Sept 11, 2001. The retreat ceremony was held to honor past and present heroes who have defended the United States' national interest and for the 3,000 innocent lives taken on the 9/11 terrorist attack.
