Thank you for your service

Maj. Gen. Mike Skinner, Mobilization Assistant, Air Education and Training Command, was able to see many aspects of Luke Air Force Base's missions when he visited the base April 5-6. Getting his first ride in an F-16 was a highlight according to the general, who used the opportunity to thank Luke's Airmen for their hard work. "Don't let rank get in our way," the general told Senior Airman Dominique Wilson, F-16 Dedicated Crew Chief, 308th Aircraft Maintenance Unit. "I'm not familiar with this jet, so if you see me do something unsafe, call me out on it." The general was safely strapped in and briefed by Airman Wilson, who was thanked officially after the flight, by receiving the general's coin. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Staff Sgt. Jason Colbert)
