Years in service: 11 years Years in 944th Fighter Wing: 2 years Civilian job: Digital Network Lead Engineer, Qwest Telecom Goals: To be the best husband, father and American that I can be. Hobbies: Semi Pro Football, going to the Gym, playing with my kids, and going to the movies. Deployments: Kirkuk AB, Iraq Why do you serve: The Air Force influenced my life from an early age. In particular, my Father, who served 3 tours t the Air Force Academy and retired after 30 years as a Chief Master Sergeant, is the reason why I serve. I aspire to be like my father...he is my hero. He is the type of guy who does the right thing all the time. It is just a natural part of his character and that is what I aspire to emulate. My dad's personality and my exposure to the Armed Forces molded me into the person that I am today. Serving my country is the epitome of doing the right thing in light of the times we live in. My Father always told me, " In order to be the best, you have to do more than the rest...and that is in everything you do!" I serve because my dad did. I served because I want to be the best American I can be. If I can be half as good as my Father is then I will be successful. I am a American Airman and My Mission is to Fly, Fight, and Win. I am Faithful to a Proud Heritage a Tradition of Honor and a Legacy of Valor. That's why I serve!
