I also strive each day to make a new friend or make a difference. Life is too short not to make the most of it. Hobbies: Spending time with my children, going to church, playing golf, going to baseball and hockey games, and hanging out with my buddies at the karaoke place. Deployments: Guelmim, Morocco - May 2006 Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany - July 2007 Why do you serve: Although I originally joined the Air Force on a whim one day, I have loved every minute of my time. I work with the most talented and dedicated professionals and I truly believe I have the BEST job in the world. I am so blessed and I am so appreciative of the men and women who've gone before me. I only hope to be able to continue the traditions as well as make a difference for the future. Do you have any other women in your family who have served in the military? If yes, who? I am the first female in my family (that I'm aware of) who has served in the military. I am just a small town girl from Texas and I wouldn't trade any of my experiences in the military for anything . I only wish everyone took advantage of the opportunities available to them.
