Senior Airman Nicole Lougheed, a reservist with the 944th Aeromedical Staging Squadron, throws out the ceremonial first pitch March 5 during opening day at Goodyear Ballpark. The Cincinnati Reds took on the Cleveland Indians to kick off their Cactus League Spring Training 2010 season. Opening day was also Military Appreciation Day where all branches of service were recognized for efforts both at home and overseas. Tech. Sgt. Michelle Schoenfeld, 944th Fighter Wing Equal Opportunity Office, sang the National Anthem as a four-ship of F-16s from the 310th Fighter Squadron flew overhead. The Marine Corps provided the color guard and the Air Force Reserve recruiters were on hand to tell about opportunities in the military. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Susan Stout)
