Keeping the vehicles running

LUKE AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. --  Tech. Sgt. Michael A. Salmon, 944th Logistics Readiness Squadron, vehicle maintenance technician, uses a flashlight while trying to remove a malfunctioning turbo assembly from a 2007 Chevrolet government van or "bread van," Jan. 7 during his unit training assembly at the 56th Vehicle Maintenance Shop, Luke Air Force Base, Ariz. "We have a reservist who works with the 56th as a civilian who sets aside good training jobs and simple tasks that can be completed on the weekend between our other training requirements," said Tech. Sgt. Gabriel E. Klemm, 944th Logistics Readiness Squadron, multipurpose vehicle maintenance craftsman. "Routinely the 56th will have jobs that take longer than a day to complete. If that job was started prior to close of business Friday and the job can be completed over the weekend, we partner to finish it."
