Maj. Gen. Mike Skinner, a U.S. Air Force Reservist serving as Mobilization Assistant to the Commander Air Education and Training Command, visited Luke Air Force Base, April 5-6, to tour both the 56th Fighter Wing and the 944th Fighter Wing stationed at Luke.

During his orientation the general was introduced to missions at each wing, including Aeromedical Staging, Explosive Ordnance Disposal, and Pilot Training. On day one the general experienced the flying mission with Instructor Pilot, Capt. Adam Hafes, 308th Fighter Squadron.

"Luke trains some of the best pilots in the Air Force," said Maj. Gen. Mike Skinner. "It is an honor to come here, see it first hand, and thank the fine men and women who do this work every day on behalf of General Rice and Lt. Gen. Stenner." (U.S. Air Force Photo by Tech. Sgt. Meredith Mingledorff)
