LUKE AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- In the interest of community partnership and understanding, the944th Fighter Wing at Luke Air Force Base, was treated to a tour of the City of Surprise, Ariz., April 19th. During the tour, Wing Staff learned about the history and planning of Surprise as well as industrial and commercial projects currently in work.

"Surprise has been an excellent community partner for the 944th Fighter Wing and we are delighted to get to know them better. It is outspoken support for Reservists and our military as a whole that allow our mission to succeed. We could not do that work without great communities like the one here in Surprise supporting us everyday." said Col. Jose Monteagudo, commander, 944th Fighter Wing.
