KC-135 tankers from the 916th Air Refueling Wing, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., taxi down the flightline Sept. 7, at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz. Three tankers from the 916th and two F-15 Eagles from the 4th Fighter Wing, also from Seymour Johnson, carried 130 Airmen from the 414th Fighter Group to sunny Arizona for off-station annual tour training.

The 944th Fighter Wing hosted the over 1,700 mile mass movement during their unit training assembly and all four entities worked together to ensure the cross country trip happened without a hitch.

This marked the first time the four units collaborated for a deployment such as this but according to Col. Michael Eltz, 414th FG commander, this stands as a good example of what can be done when resources are pulled together.
