944th Fighter Wing members will exercise accountability, recall procedures and force protection condition measures during their upcoming unit training assembly here Feb. 12-13.

"Prior to the exercise it's important for each member of the wing to ensure their supervisor has the most accurate contact information for phone recalls and to make sure their computerized Ad Hoc information is current and accurate," said Lt Col Chris Fellhoelter, exercise evaluation team chief.

One goal of the exercise is to provide our Aeromedical Staging Squadron hands-on readiness training. The squadron, 98 percent of whom work full-time for a civilian employer, will also be required to demonstrate these skills during their upcoming operational readiness inspection and evaluation.

"The Wing as a whole does not execute these measures very often," said Colonel Fellhoelter. "Our citizen Airmen play a huge role in the defense of our country. These types of exercises ensure that we, as citizen Airmen, can be reached, alerted and work with our employers to continue responding to the military needs of our nation."
