Citizen Airmen donated blood Jan. 8 during the 944th Fighter Wing Blood Drive at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz.
More than 30 of Luke’s Citizen Airmen turned out to donate a total of 24 units of blood. netting 106 percent of their goal.
United Blood Services, a non-profit community blood center founded in Phoenix, Ariz. in 1943, provides blood and blood products to more than 500 hospitals across the United States.
