Happiness, contentment and positivity are a choice! When times are tough, and stressors are overwhelming, it takes intentionality to look around you and see positivity. The most powerful thing to remember is that you are the only one that has control over you. Do not give someone else the keys to your happiness and life by allowing them to hijack your emotions. Look around at all the small blessings in your life and they will become bigger than your struggles.

Life is a gift, and as Airmen, you have chosen to use your gifts for the betterment of our country, communities, and families. Your contributions make a tremendous impact on everything you touch; therefore, it is important to influence each outcome with happiness, contentment and positivity. As you continue the mission of readiness, remember, happiness, contentment and positivity are contagious. Smile, and embrace every day for all of its goodness.
